Just take care cause it’s flue season again! Although lately it feels like flue season is every other week… what’s up with that?!

Aalto coffee break

Welcome to have a cup of coffee and hear the latest news about Aalto University at HSE starting at 13.00. Usually there have been present several experts and leaders of the Aalto project. The presentations are mainly held in Finnish, but it is also possible to ask questions from the presenters afterwards. Welcome!

Last ticket sale for French evening taking place Monday 17.11.!

Last ticket sale for French evening is arranged on Monday 17.11. during 12 o´clock break in the lobby of the HSE Main Building.

Come and buy your ticket to French evening organized by KY´s French culture club Chic. Chic´s biggest event this Fall, French evening, will take place at KY Yläkertsi on Monday 17th of November at 7 - 10pm. 5 euro ticket includes a three course dinner with wine!

For those who enjoy French culture, music, food and wine, a great evening in good company is guaranteed! Dresscode is “Chic casual”!

Blood Donation 19.11.

Do a good deed and donate blood at HSE on 19.11. Make a difference in someone’s life! Donations are taken between 10-14 at HSE Juhlasali (Grand Hall in main building)

KY-SHS Band Show kuntis @ Royal Onnela 20.11.

On Thursday the 20th of November there will be some cross-academic action between KY and SHS (the Student Union of Hanken, the Swedish School of Economics)! The KY-SHS Band Show kuntis will be held at Onnela in Kamppi. You better take out your dictionaires and prepare yourself with some Swedish expressions, because in this kuntis, you’ll definitely need your Swedish skills. The event starts at 9 PM and the bands will start to play at 10. Among others, you have a chance to see the performance of our legendary Speksi-bändi!

LADIES! Dammarit 22.11.!

Hollywood comes to Helsinki! The hottest party of the fall is here! The new mursu-boys are working hard to ensure the girls of HSE enjoy to the fullest extent! They’re here to serve you! Get to the party at KY on Saturday 22.11. The doors to the paradise open at 18.00 and after that it’s one helluva ride waiting for you! Anything can and will happen at this party, all the way till 4 am. I hope you have your tickets bought last week!

As a hint, come in groups of about 4 girls and get there in time at 18.00 when it begins! The best dressed group will be awarded with a luxurious surprise gift, so it’s worth it to pay attention to your attire!

Afterparty starts at 2 am and drink tickets are sold on Tuesday 18.11. on the 12 and 14 o’clock breaks!

Sportsman of the Year!

Do you happen to have a friend who is very much into sports and might have even achieved a title or two? Does he/she study at HSE? In that case, nominate this person as KY’s Sportsman of the Year!

Sportsman of the year is successful in his/her own sports field but simultaneously keeps up with school and does it well. Send your nomination and basis to liikunta@kyweb.fi or to Sports and Club Secretary at Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu 21 B, 3.krs, 00100 Helsinki. Nominations should have arrived by Tuesday 25.11. at 4p.m. Late arrivals will not be considered!
